COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid is an exfoliating serum formulated with 4% betaine salicylate, a plant-derived natural exfoliant. It dissolves impurities and debris from pores while removing dead skin cells. The serum also features hyaluronic acid, willow bark extract, and niacinamide to hydrate and brighten the skin.
BHAs are oil-soluble, enabling them to work on the skin’s surface and penetrate deeper to unclog pores and treat blemishes. This makes them especially suitable for normal to oily and congested skin. Additionally, BHAs have natural skin-calming, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties, which benefit those prone to redness and rosacea.
